Scott Andrew Wilson
Trial Attorney
During law school, I clerked at the Hines Law Firm, as I wanted to stay in Columbia to practice, and was hired as an Associate at the Firm in 1998. I was made a Partner in the Firm in 2003, where I practice exclusively in the areas of personal injury litigation and workers' compensation. We only represent those who have been injured through no fault of their own and are able to pick our cases and clients carefully.
I serve on the Board of KIDS' CHANCE of Missouri, a scholarship program for children of workers who were seriously injured or killed on the job. I have also been elected by my peers to serve on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys since 2005.

- Q. Which attorney is the best for slip and fall that happen on your job
- A: You should look for an experienced workers compensation lawyer who represents injured workers who also handles personal injury claims as there may be potential third-party liability if someone other than your Employer was negligent in causing the dangerous condition.
- Q. If an attorney deliberately leaves out medical records to prove your case, what do you call that? Malpractice?
- A: We cannot give you legal advice since you are currently represented by an attorney. You should schedule a meeting with your lawyer and ask him these questions, before you agree to settle your case. The choice to settle is yours and yours alone to make, but your lawyer should answer your questions and give you their advice as to how to proceed. Good luck.
