Sasha Boersma was born and raised in Southwest Berrien County. She attended River Valley High school in Three Oaks, Michigan. She received a degree in Political Science and English - Practical Writing from Western Michigan University (B.A., 2010), and she earned her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law (J.D. Honors Program, 2013). She has been accredited to represent veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2012. Sasha was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2013 and the Illinois Bar in 2016.
After graduating from law school, Sasha served as the law clerk and bailiff for the 36th Circuit Court of Van Buren County. She joined Conybeare Law Office in 2016, and practices Social Security & Veterans Disability Law and Worker’s Compensation.
Outside of work, Sasha volunteers in her community to advance political and social issues that are important to her. She was on the Mock Trial teams at both Western and Valpo, so one of her favorite ways to give back is judging mock trial competitions for high school, college, and law students. She resides in Sawyer, Michigan, and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nephews Braiden, Finley and Creek.
