Summary

I’m from Salisbury and I’m proud to practice law in my hometown! I am the principal attorney at The Polaris Law Firm. I focus my practice on traffic violations, criminal law, intellectual property, and expungements. While in law school at North Carolina Central University School of Law, I served as the President of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. Within the legal profession, I strive to be a “social engineer” for his community. As stated by Charles Hamilton Houston, “A lawyer is either a social engineer or a parasite on society A social engineer [is] a highly skilled, perceptive, sensitive lawyer who [understands] the Constitution of the United States and [knows] how to explore its uses in the solving of problems of local communities and in bettering conditions of the underprivileged citizens.”

2 Questions Answered

Q. Received a ticket for doing 87 in a 65 in NC. Possible outcomes?
A: You are facing a license suspension. You should hire a local attorney to help you yo avoid NC Points and Insurance Points. You could get the ticket handled yourself without an attorney but it would impact your insurance rates.
Q. I got a ticket for going 85 mph in a 65 mph zone in Gaston county NC and was wondering if i could use a PJC
A: You should try to get it reduced to an improper equipment. You do qualify for a PJC but I wouldn't recommend using it.
