Roxanne Marie Lutgen
I am an attorney based in northern Wisconsin with a diverse background in law and finance. I served as general counsel for five years, where my responsibilities included managing contracts, handling insurance matters, addressing discrimination complaints, conducting legal research, interpreting statutes, and facilitating communications with governing boards.
In addition to my legal career, I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Wisconsin. My experience includes six years of auditing municipal and governmental entities. My career in finance also includes roles such as 13 years as Vice President of finance/administration in tax-levying governmental entities and Vice President in banking for two years.
My commitment to the community is demonstrated through my volunteer work with several local organizations. In addition, I have elected/appointed official experience as an Iron County Board Supervisor, Mercer Planning Commission, and Mercer Library Board member. I recently served as the volunteer Interim Iron County Administrative Coordinator for a 6-month appointment. Furthermore, I contribute as a volunteer financial report and budget award reviewer for the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), which helps me stay informed about the GFOA's budget and financial reporting standards.
