During his time in law school, Richard was also involved in various organizations including being a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. Before earning his J.D., he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, with a minor in Finance, from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his academic career, Richard earned numerous awards and recognition such as the Order of Barristers and the CALI Awards, and also participated in and won various student legal competitions. Richard is licensed and ready to help clients in the State of Oklahoma. Prior to joining the Tulsa, Oklahoma family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Richard practiced as a Managing Member Attorney working with civil evaluation, settlement of property and personal injury claims in both District Court and Workers Compensation Court. Richard has 19 years of experience working in personal injury, insurance claims, bankruptcy, general civil litigation, criminal, probate, taxation, and workers compensation. Before his extensive experience as legal counsel, Richard also worked as a law clerk for two years where he researched legal and tax issues, drafted memos, and assisted with other material for trial preparation.
