Patricia Christensen

Patricia Christensen has focused her practice, for more than 40 years, in the area of complex commercial litigation, and has particular experience and expertise in handling product liability and toxic tort defense litigation, arbitration, mediation and counseling.
She has substantial experience representing product manufacturers in the pharmaceutical, medical product, building product, automotive, banking, chemical, industrial equipment, industrial fluid, oil and gas, recreational equipment and household appliance industries. She has also served as an arbitrator for the Private Adjudication Center at Duke University, resolving product liability claims against trust funds established by the United States Bankruptcy Courts.
In addition, Ms. Christensen has represented a broad range of commercial clients in litigation relating to antitrust, trademark, construction, contract, real estate, securities, banking and environmental issues.
Ms. Christensen is a past president of the law firm, a former Judge pro tem of the Third Judicial District Court, a former adjunct professor of law at the University of Utah’s S. J. Quinney College of Law, and a former legislative assistant in the United States Senate.
Ms. Christensen served as a Director of Meritas Law Firms Worldwide, as well as serving as co-chair of its Litigation Section and Western U. S. Region.
She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and an officer and director of a number of charitable, civic and professional organizations.
