
Na Lan
Serving business/real property owners, and immigrants - practicing in Hawaii
Na Lan is a director of Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert. Her practice areas are condominium and community association law, immigration law, business and real property transactions and dispute resolution. Born and raised in China, she is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. She co-taught Property I at William S. Richardson School of Law as a Lecturer in Law in the Spring semester of 2020.
She earned her law degree from the University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She was the Managing Editor of the Asia Pacific Law & Policy Journal, and also served as an intern for Judge Craig Nakamura of the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals.
Ms. Lan has represented clients on business formation and acquisition, contract/lease drafting, reviews and negotiation, due diligence research, property acquisition/sales/conveyance, various family based, employment based and business immigration matters, estate planning, landlord tenant matters, and dispute resolution on various business/real property matters. She also has extensive experience serving as legal counsel for condominium and community associations on general consulting, collection/foreclosure and litigation matters.
A member of the Hawaii Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) since 2013, Ms. Lan has held leadership roles as Chair and Vice Chair of the CAI Legislative Action Committee, Hawaii Chapter (LAC). She remains an active member of the LAC, testifying before the state legislature and lobbying on behalf of homeowners associations. In 2015, she received the Public Advocate of the Year Award from CAI. She was a 2016 Hawaii State Bar Association Leadership Institute fellow.
She also earned her real estate license, and is a member of the Honolulu Board of Realtors.
