Monique Lavender Greenberg is the founding attorney of Lavender Greenberg PLLC in Coral Gables, Florida. In this role, she focuses her practice on estate planning and probate law, advising families and individuals on the financial, legal, and tax aspects of their estate plans. Monique is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates by the Florida Bar and she obtained both a Master of Laws in Estate Planning and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.
Monique is a former president of the Coral Gables Estate Planning Council, where she has actively participated in several roles and currently serves on its Board of Directors. She has been awarded the AEP Designation from the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, where she also serves on the organization’s Board of Directors. She was recently appointed to serve on the Florida Probate Rules Committee of the Florida Bar, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Coral Gables Bar Association.
She has built a strong reputation in the legal field, recognized with awards such as the ‘On the Rise’ honor from the Daily Business Review’s 2024 Florida Legal Awards; where the region’s most promising South Florida lawyers under the age of 40 are selected. Monique was also honored by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce as last year's Overall Rising Star and in 2022, she received the prestigious Merrick in the Making award.
As an active member of the Miami-Dade community, Monique is a passionate volunteer and philanthropist. Monique actively participates as a member in organizations such as the Junior League of Miami, Beaux Arts Miami, the Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida, among others.
