Monica’s commitment to working for immigrant families and immigrant rights started in 2002 when she spent two years on the U.S./Mexico border in South Texas as an AmeriCorps volunteer providing “know your rights presentations” to detained immigrants and legal support to pro bono attorneys. She then worked as an Accredited Representative in Indiana representing immigrant clients in front of USCIS in their requests for visa petitions, naturalization, adjustment of status and other immigration benefits. She continues her dedication to immigrant families through her work at the firm. Monica is fluent in English and Spanish. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2013. In her free time Monica enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband, Jeff, and their children.
