Miles W. Rich

Miles W. Rich, a Cum Laude graduate of Georgia State University's College of Law has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Federal Bar and has been serving clients in Metro Atlanta since 1995. Prior to that Miles enjoyed careers in sales and marketing, as well as finance and accounting. Born in Davenport, Iowa in 1951, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1972 and spent the next 9 plus years in the food industry. In 1983, he earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University,and spent the next 7 years in the retail business. Miles has also passed the Certified Public Accounting exam, so unlike many family law attorneys, he has a special expertise in financial matters.

Miles opened his law office in Roswell in 1995 and has been located in Futlon and Forsyth Counties ever since, litigating cases throughout north Georgia in Cherokee, Jasper, Floyd, Bartow, Douglas, Cobb, Paulding, Forsyth, White, Lumpkin, Dawson, Hall, Gwinnett, Jackson, Barrow, Rockdale, DeKalb, Fulton, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, Clarke, Coweta, and Troup Counties.

Miles practices in four basic areas:

1. Family Law including divorce, juvenile law, support, custody, equitable division, legitimation,
2. Business Law including business litigation, small business law
3. Bankruptcy including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 representing debtors and creditors
4. Criminal Law, including DUI and Traffic offenses as well as most felonies and all misdemeanors.
