I have been practicing law for almost 20 years, and focus my practice on litigation cases, business law, family law cases, misdemeanor criminal defense, probate law, and real estate matters.
My office is in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit. I represent clients mostly in the Metro Detroit area (Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, and Washtenaw counties). But, depending on the case, I do represent clients in other areas of Michigan, and have handled cases in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Traverse City, Lansing, as well as other locations in Michigan.
In addition to my representation of clients in Michigan, I have represented clients in a number of locations outside of the Great Lakes State, including California, Delaware, Florida, Ohio, Washington, D.C., and even the Caribbean.
I belong to the State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, the Detroit Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. I am licensed to practice in all of Michigan's state and federal courts. I am also admitted to practice before the federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio and the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C.
I graduated from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, with a degree in Spanish language and literature. I also earned a second major in business administration. I attended Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan and was a member of the Wayne Law Review.
