Matthew Wiseman

Matt grew up the son of small business owners in Findlay and has had a passion for helping other entrepreneurs ever since. He spent many long days as a boy trying to sell paint and wallpaper to customers in his parents' store with his mother and many longer summer days painting houses with his father. He understands firsthand the challenges of starting a small business and keeping it up and running.

He attended Ohio Northern University where he attained his undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science. After graduation, Matt traveled south down I-75 for law school at the University of Cincinnati. While at the University of Cincinnati, Matt was a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project. As a fellow, Matt and his colleagues reviewed cases of men and women incarcerated in the State of Ohio to identify and assist those inmates wrongfully accused of the crimes for which they were convicted.

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, he served as a Prosecutor in Clermont County, Ohio and as a Public Defender in Hamilton County, Ohio. Since leaving public service, Matt has practiced throughout Southwest Ohio representing clients accused of crimes in traffic cases, misdemeanor, and felony offenses and defending clients charged in federal cases in the Southern District of Ohio. In addition, Matt has helped small business owners form new businesses, grow their business, and navigate challenges from everyday headaches to complex contractual issues.
