Biography

A decorated combat veteran, Matthew R. Swisher, Esq. is an experienced attorney dedicated to serving his client’s legal needs. Indeed, service to others is at the core of his character. Following nearly ten years of service to our nation in the United States Marine Corps, Matt attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania where he was awarded an A.S. in Business Legal Studies and a B.A. in Economics; both with honors. Matt then attended Duquesne University School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 2014. During college and law school Matt continued his service to our nation in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and worked his way through law school at a prominent personal injury law firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following law school, Matt served as a judicial law clerk for the judges of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. Matt has served as both a prosecutor and as a defense attorney. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. In addition to serving the legal needs of his clients, Mr. Swisher currently serves as an officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
