Matt Baggett founded Baggett Law in 2012. The firm was formed on the principle of providing personalized service and attention to every client. As a Jacksonville personal injury lawyer, Mr. Baggett represents accident victims and their families in personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout Florida.
Mr. Baggett represents accident victims who were injured in car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip & fall accidents, Uber & Lyft accidents, or other accidents caused by the negligence of others. He also represents families of accident victims against the people or businesses who caused their loved one’s death. He fights for fair compensation by using his extensive trial experience to advocate for his clients.
Mr. Baggett was born in Jacksonville and returned to the city to help injured clients in his hometown. During his career, Mr. Baggett has fought to recover millions of dollars in compensation for accident victims.
Mr. Baggett represented large corporations and insurers early in his career and understands how they view injury cases. Mr. Baggett uses his experience to develop legal strategies to get fair outcomes for his clients. At the same time, he provides personalized service and attention to each client he represents.
Mr. Baggett earned an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Florida and a law degree from Florida State University. Mr. Baggett is admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts.
Over his career, Mr. Baggett has received many honors and awards. He has a rating of 9.8 out of 10 from Avvo and a coveted AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for legal knowledge and ethics. Since 2009, he has been listed as one of Florida’s Super Lawyers. And The National Trial Lawyers lists him on its list of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in the state.
