Mark Matthews takes great pride in creating solutions for his clients and works closely with his clients to integrate solutions that address more than the bare legal issues. This involves advising his clients of legal and practical issues that are not immediately obvious and exploring how todayâs decisions create tomorrowâs consequences. He has over 10 years of experience practicing law and over 16 years of professional leadership and management experience. Markâs clients have included automobile manufacturers, business owners, and soldiers facing court-martial. Mark is a veteran of 12 years on active duty in the U.S. Army, including three years in the field artillery, three years in law school under the U.S. Army Funded Legal Education Program, and six years in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the William & Mary School of Law, where he teaches courses on Technology-Augmented Trial Advocacy and is a Managing Director of the Veterans Benefits Clinic. Mark is also a leadership adviser who trains, writes, and speaks on leadership and management, including writing the Leadership column for Greater Richmond Grid Magazine (formerly Work Magazine).
