- Q. Are police dash cams admissible in court
- A: Yes police dash cam videos are admissible in court. They are generally part of the discovery given by the state. If one is not provided by the state then you can request a copy from the police agency with the video.
- Q. is it legal for a district attorney to issue a state wide ban?
- A: A district attorney has limited jurisdiction which is the district they represent. A state wide ban seems to be an overreach, and is most likely not valid. There may be other factors applicable which are not clearly evident from the question, so without knowing more about the specifics of this case, it is not possible to give a definitive answer.
- Q. If someone has filed a false police report against me what can I do? Can I demand a polygraph to avoid arrest!
- A: it is very likely the police will want to speak with you regarding the police report. It would be smart to have an attorney go with you to the interview, as they can advice you during questioning. It is probably best not to speak to the police alone without the benefit of legal counsel.
