I am Luis D. Osollo, an Attorney at Law in California and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales. I am licensed to practice law in both the United States and the United Kingdom, which allows me to operate legally in various Commonwealth realms, including certain European nations and principalities post-BREXIT, as well as specific member nations of ASEAN and BRICS. My legal practice primarily focuses on Private International Law. I work on international tax planning, which involves advising on and structuring asset transfers that are inbound, outbound, or foreign-to-foreign. My duties also include structuring for tax planning purposes permanent establishments, subsidiaries, branches, and international joint ventures and partnerships, managing income taxation of foreign currency fluctuations, and overseeing international corporate re-organizations and liquidations to minimize tax exposure. Additionally, I handle compliance with the FTAIA and the extraterritorial application of U.S. antitrust law, and E.U. competition laws (arts. 101 and 102 of the TFEU), anti-corruption and anti-money laundering regulations, conduct internal investigations, and oversee enforcement related to the aforementioned practice areas.
