Lisa J. Frisella
Frisella Neilson, APC
Lisa Frisella has been dedicated to working with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, conservators, guardians, and heirs, assisting with estate planning, litigating trust-related matters, handling heirship petitions and will contests, advising on trust administration, and pursuing financial elder abuse claims. Before founding Frisella Neilson, APC, she focused on civil litigation, including antitrust, consumer protection, and complex commercial cases, with a San Diego boutique law firm. She also has experience in estate planning, having worked with a firm that offered capital management, accounting, and real estate services.
Ms. Frisella is a 2000 graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, where she also spent her third year as a visiting student at the University of San Diego School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Certificate of Business from Saint Louis University in 1994 and went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Public Administration in 1997. Ms. Frisella was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001.
Ms. Frisella is deeply involved in her community, regularly participating in events hosted by the County Bar Association, Lawyers Club, and Probate Attorneys of San Diego, and supporting local outreach initiatives. She previously co-chaired the SDCBA Golf Tournament and has served as a lecturer at a local community college on trusts and estates. A frequent speaker on topics ranging from estate planning to trust litigation, Ms. Frisella has presented on Estate Planning at a KPBS Library Event, which included participants from KPBS, UC San Diego, and the San Diego Public Library Foundation. She also currently volunteers with Teen Volunteers in Action and Miracle League of San Diego.
