Why Disability Law?

Kevin’s first law job was as a law clerk at Dabdoub Law Firm while in law school. As a law clerk, he realized how much of a difference he could make in the lives of people who were too sick or injured to work.

Kevin graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in the top 10% of his class, earning the honors of magna cum laude. With his academic record, he could have chosen a big defense law firm and represented insurance companies. He instead joined the team of disability attorneys at Dabdoub Law Firm.

Kevin’s Practice

Kevin’s entire legal career has been dedicated to fighting for people who are at a disadvantage to take on disability insurance companies themselves. As a result, he has handled disability claims and lawsuits against virtually every disability insurance company in the U.S.

No matter how tough the opponent, Kevin can take them on. He even took on the NFL Disability Plan. When the NFL Disability Plan refused to recognize his client, a former professional football player, qualified for disability benefits, Kevin took the case to federal court and won.

Kevin’s expertise in disability law has resulted in many of his clients getting their benefits approved and avoiding lawsuits. But his work has also led to the development of new law that helps thousands of disabled claimants everywhere.

Fighting for your disability benefits can be difficult and frustrating. Kevin is able to take over handling all aspects of your disability claim, including (I) submitting a disability insurance claim; (ii) appealing a denial of disability insurance benefits; (iii) Negotiating a lump-sum settlement; and (iv) filing a lawsuit against the insurance company.

He regularly litigates disability benefits lawsuits in federal and state courts that involve just about any medical condition, including chronic back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, cognitive impairment, stroke, and many others.
