Kevin Isern

Kevin Isern is a seasoned trial lawyer and partner with Lovell, Lovell, Isern & Farabough, LLP. He has worked in the legal industry since 1991 and focuses his practice on all aspects of complex civil litigation, representing clients in matters involving personal injury, business law and commercial litigation, probate litigation and more.
Kevin graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He then earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Texas and Oklahoma and admitted to practice in all four federal district courts in Texas and Oklahoma. He is also admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Kevin is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is double certified in civil and civil practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Kevin’s legal career includes the highly publicized case Texas Beef Group, et al. v. Oprah Winfrey, et al., in which he represented members of the Texas cattle industry in a lawsuit against the talk show mogul. He has worked as a Briefing Attorney for Fifth District Court of Appeals – Dallas for the Honorable John Whittington and the Honorable Barbara Rosenberg and also worked at some of the top law firms in the region for his practice areas.
Kevin is a member of several legal associations, including the State Bar of Texas. He was selected for inclusion in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and was appointed by Commissioners Court to the Committee For the Research of a Public Defender’s Office in Potter County. He has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers for Personal Injury Litigation every year since 2005. He holds a Distinguished Rating with Martindale-Hubbell – where one commenter noted that Kevin is “not only a terrific attorney but he is trustworthy.”
