Keith Edwards Roberts Jr.
Roberts PC
Chuck’s law practice includes both family law and civil litigation. Equally at home in divorce court as he is in front of a jury protecting his clients' rights, Chuck enjoys the challenges which arise from doing both kinds of work.
Chuck is proud of his appointment as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Academy Fellows are widely recognized by judges and attorneys as preeminent family law practitioners with the highest level of knowledge, skill, and integrity.
There is no substitute for preparation, and a great deal of Chuck’s daily schedule includes meetings with clients and staff. Availability to clients is a critical component of the practice of law, and Chuck is continuously accessible by email and cell phone. “When the police are on their way to your home at 3:00 a.m. because your soon to be former spouse is behaving badly and you don’t know what to do, finding out that your lawyer’s home phone is unlisted and the office is closed isn’t of much value.” We each strive to be available when you really need us most.
What Chuck did before joining the firm:
Chuck grew up in Naperville, Illinois and did his undergraduate work at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. An engineer by trade, he worked at Ford Motor Company as an engine engineer in the seventies and then graduated from law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1983. Chuck has been with the firm since he was sworn in as a lawyer in November 1983. Chuck is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar in Chicago.
