Areas of Practice
After focusing on appeals and post-conviction remedies for years, Attorney Clarkson found that the best way to save someone from ineffective assistance of counsel is to be effective trial counsel. Switching now to focus more heavily on trials, she fights for your rights and makes sure every angle is utilized to get you the best possible outcome.

Attorney Clarkson will still handle appeals, post-conviction remedies, and mental health expungements.

Attorney Clarkson will continue to make sure the law is complied with and uphold constitutional rights so our citizenry does not lose them.

She handles everything from summary speeding tickets to murder.

Philosophy
Attorney Clarkson believes in the phrase “latius est impunitum relinqui facinus nocentis quam innocentem damnari.” Translated as “it is better to let the crime of the guilty go unpunished than to condemn the innocent.”

Every case is different, and so is every client. What may be best for one may not be an option for another. Knowing the case and the client, Attorney Clarkson can fight for what is best for each individual.

Personal Background
Kaitlyn earned her Associates Degree at Lehigh Carbon Community College within a year after graduating from high school. She then went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia.

After leaving Temple, Kaitlyn attended Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg. She started here at The McShane Firm as a law clerk and she participated in Widener’s Civil Law Clinic while in law school. She received CALI awards in two classes for earning the highest grade in her class.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and her three rescued cats, Penelope, Pumpkin, and Purrl. On weekends, you can often find her watching football and Formula 1.
