Dealing with serious debt can be risky: Doing nothing can lead to forced collection and garnishment; doing the wrong thing may result in overpayment and could still lead to legal problems. In some instances, we may even be able to have your creditors help fund your debt resolution options if they have violated your consumer rights. And when its over, we'll help get you off to the right start in rehabilitating credit.

Attorney Kaelyn Steinkraus focuses her practice on assisting consumers in creditor harassment cases. Many people believe that when they owe a debt, they have no rights, but both Federal and Florida State laws provide consumers with legal protections against overzealous creditors. This may include protection against harassing collection activities such as unauthorized robocalls, contacting friends, family or employers about a debt, making aggressive or threatening remarks, misrepresenting information about a debt, unlawful credit reporting, and other unlawful activities.

Kaelyn started with The Law Office of Michael A. Ziegler, P.L. as a law clerk in 2014 after various legal internships throughout her undergraduate and law school careers. It was at this point that she knew she’d found her niche: helping everyday people that had been taken advantage of by big-business creditors. In 2016, Kaelyn accepted a position as an associate attorney with the Law Office of Michael A. Ziegler, P.L. She was promoted to Partner in 2019 and continues to work tirelessly to represent consumers’ rights.
