Florida Injury Lawyer Fighting for Car Crash, Fall, and Wrongful Death Victims
Justin Schneider is the founder and managing attorney of Schneider Injury Firm, a personal injury law firm based in Broward County, Florida. Mr. Schneider is known as The Honest Attorney and has built his practice around transparency, client education, and a no-nonsense approach to advocacy. He represents victims of car accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, drownings, Uber & Lyft cases and other serious injury cases throughout Florida.
Mr. Schneider began his legal career in 2014 at a prestigious Miami law firm, handling complex construction defect and commercial litigation. His dedication to public service led him to the Florida House of Representatives, where he worked on legislative initiatives for District 87. He later served as a felony prosecutor at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he first-chaired more than 30 jury trials and fought for victims in high-stakes felony, civil fatality, and juvenile cases.
Before launching his own firm, Justin practiced at a high volume plaintiff’s firm and later at a boutique firm where he focused on catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation including trucking accidents and traumatic brain injury claims. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Schneider earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and studied abroad at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, concentrating on comparative legal contracts and English legal history. During law school, he served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable J. Lawrence Johnston at the Division of Administrative Hearings and was a regional competitor with the BLSA Mock Trial Team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida.

- Q. Can I sue for online harassment and false claims impacting my life?
- A: Yes. If it negatively affects your business you may be able to sue for defamation. You would have to prove that it negatively affected your business, and you lost clients or income. You can't just say it, need to have evidence that shows it like tax returns. You would also need to prove the statements are factually untrue.
In addition, if the harassment involves repeated, targeted behavior that causes emotional distress, you may qualify for a civil injunction for cyberstalking under Florida law. This could result in a court order requiring the individual to stop contacting or posting about you. It’s important to document everything (screenshots, links, timelines) and speak with a Florida ... - Q. Consequences if husband and son don't attend trial for collision case in Florida?
- A: If both your husband and son are being sued, at least one of them should make an appearance in court. While there’s no legal penalty for not showing up, their absence can leave a negative impression on the jury. Jurors may interpret it as indifference, which could diminish any sympathy and make them more inclined to side against them.
If attending every day isn’t feasible, consider having one appear on one day and the other on another. Some judges may even permit an instruction to the jury explaining their absence, depending on the circumstances. They don’t need to be there for the entire trial, but making an effort to show up at least once is strategically wise.
