WHAT I DO:
I help companies, national and foreign, to do business in Guatemala by advising them on corporate law so that they can comply with all legal requirements and operate smoothly in the country. To this end, I form corporations and companies with foreign, national or mixed capital, so that they can sell their products or services in the Guatemalan market; I register trademarks and generally protect the intellectual property of my clients so that third parties cannot take advantage of it without authorization; I advise on the merger and acquisition of both Guatemalan and foreign companies and in general, I provide legal advice to companies that want to do business and need all the legal structure to make their venture successful.
However, I am not only dedicated to advice, because when a company has problems with its suppliers, customers, workers, tax payments or the imputation of economic crimes, and is involved in an arbitration or commercial, tax, labor or criminal law litigation of the company, I direct these processes always with the aim of finding a solution to the client's problem.
