I am Joshua Gonzalez-Escobar, an Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, working out of the Lee’s Summit, Missouri office. I am equipped to represent clients in family law matters throughout Jackson County and nearby regions.

I obtained my Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Criminal Law from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2019. Prior to that, I completed my Juris Doctorate at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2017. My educational journey began with a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico in 2014, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Puerto Rico in 2012. With a solid academic background and a drive to assist others, I am licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri.

Before my time at Stange Law Firm, I accumulated valuable legal experience across various roles and states. My career started as a Law Clerk in Manati, Puerto Rico, where I was involved in litigation preparation and legal research. I then served as an Immigration Paralegal in Orlando, Florida. In Austin, Texas, I was a Document Preparer at GP Services and subsequently a Legal Assistant at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. Additionally, I worked as a Staff Attorney for the housing unit at Legal Aid of Western Missouri in Kansas City, representing clients in eviction cases.

Being bilingual in Spanish, I am able to assist a diverse clientele.
