Biography

Joe has been practicing law since 1996 after graduating from the University of Arizona College of Law. Today, Joe is licensed to practice law in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. This includes state court, federal court, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

After graduating from the University of Arizona, Joe moved to Lovington, New Mexico, for a Judicial Clerkship opportunity with the 5th Judicial District of New Mexico. After the one-year clerkship, Joe developed extensive litigation experience throughout the Southwest. Over the last 25 years, Joe has successfully tried multiple jury and bench trials resulting in substantial compensation to his clients. In addition to his tremendous litigation experience, Joe has also attained AV Preeminent status by Martindale-Hubbell. The AV Preeminent rating demonstrates that a lawyer has earned the highest rating available for their legal ability and professional ethics. Joe is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and serves on the board of New Mexico Legal Aid, helping ensure that individuals receive the legal help they deserve.

Joe’s true passion is helping those in need. Throughout his life, he has seen vulnerable people steamrolled simply because of their lack of resources or power. Becoming an attorney has allowed him to defend these victims from governments, insurance companies, and other forces who have harmed them. When you come to Zebas Law Firm, you’re not just another client. Joe will devote his extensive knowledge, experience, and as much time as necessary to fighting on your behalf. Unlike many other attorneys, Joe will take the time to get to know you and truly empathize with your situation. As a catastrophic injury attorney, Joe takes the necessary measures to ensure his clients’ needs are met, beyond mere legal representation.

Joe is deeply knowledgeable, hard-working, and relentless about seeking justice for his clients.
