For more than 35 years, Jon Anderson owned Anderson & Associates, P.C. which grew to be a leading law firm with 12 attorneys in four offices who represented clients in divorce, family law, estate planning, probate, bankruptcy, and debtor/creditor relations and other matters.
In June 2022, he sold Anderson & Associates, P.C. In 2023, he founded Anderson Attorneys, PC, a smaller, high-quality, specialized, boutique law firm that focuses on financially sophisticated divorce litigation and estate planning, and probate matters.
For over 35 years, Jonathan Anderson has achieved optimum results in divorce and family law matters involving high-income, high-asset, financially sophisticated divorce litigation involving family business, real estate, and other complex valuation issues, location of hidden assets, marital property distribution, non-marital protection, maintenance (alimony), allocation of parental responsibility (child custody), parenting time (visitation), and the relocation of minor children to and from the state of Illinois, and enforcement of and challenges to pre-marital and post-nuptial agreements.
Jonathan Anderson is an authority on drafting and litigation of pre-marital agreements (pre-nuptial agreements) and post-marital agreements (post-nuptial) agreements. He has written, lectured, and testified as an expert witness, regarding Illinois pre and post-nuptial agreement law.
