John N. Elliott
State Bar of of Michigan
John Elliott believes that unfortunately, criminal defendants are often presumed guilty as opposed to innocent. There is an unfortunate sentiment that if someone is charged with a crime, then they must have done something wrong. Mr. Elliott is passionate about the plight of those wrongly accused. Further, he is equally committed to assisting those who have made mistakes or bad decisions that brought them into the criminal justice system and fighting to ensure that those uncharacteristic actions do not have long lasting effects on his Clients' lives and livelihoods.
Mr. Elliott realizes that the only protection individuals facing criminal charges have is the representation of an aggressive trial attorney. Attorney Elliott is still as passionate about defending his clients today as he was the first time he stepped into a courtroom.

- Q. Why do lawyers need you family history when in a accident isn't your fault it was from hit and run
- A: Your question does not indicate in what context a lawyer wanted your family history. I believe that I would need more information to provide a relevant answer to your question. Is this an attorney you are looking to retain for a personal injury accident, is it an attorney from an insurance company, or some other scenario? Nor did you indicate what you mean by family history, ie; medical history, ethnicity, etc. If you provide more context I believe someone will be able to answer your question.
