Biography

Jeremy Snyder is an experienced court-martial defense attorney for members of all U.S. services, worldwide. He has litigated more than 100 judicial and administrative courts and boards, the majority of which have been felony-level federal trials in the United States, England, Germany, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, and Japan. He has overseen hundreds more trials as a supervisor. He has a strong record handling cases of complex fraud, international crimes, larceny, drugs, aggravated assault, sexual assault, multi-victim cases, vehicular manslaughter, negligent homicide, and attempted murder.
He holds an advanced Master of Laws degree from The Judge Advocate General’s School (U.S. Army) in military law. He served on a diplomatic joint tour in Kuwait as the advisor to a Major General and the U.S. Ambassador. He is a graduate of the Joint and Combined Warfighting School, among senior officers of all service branches, earning the distinction of Joint Qualified Officer. He served as the lead Air Force defense counsel for all of Europe and the Middle East, in which he personally secured 11 full acquittals and dismissals in complex cases, while also supervising defense services over more than 6,000 criminal and administrative matters.
When he was just 23 years old, he graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law—ranked by U.S. News as the top public law school and in the top-10 of all 200 law schools in the country. After a year in private practice doing commercial litigation, he answered his nation’s call and joined the Air Force JAG Corps, where he was selected for multiple trial lawyer leadership positions, both prosecution and defense, at the earliest opportunity.
