Jennifer Carroll Filla
Jennifer is an attorney in the Estate Planning and Business Law departments at Fears Nachawati. Jennifer has been practicing law since 2000 and is licensed in the State of Colorado. Jennifer has a varied legal background. She has developed a broad estate planning practice, centered on the counseling of clients through the estate planning process, wills and trusts, and representation in probate matters. Jennifer’s business law practices involves assisting in the formation of business entities, creation of necessary business documents during the formation process and for the successful transaction of daily business, including master service agreements, employment contracts, policy manuals and non-disclosure agreements, among many others.
Jennifer was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the University of Kansas and graduated in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Jennifer went on to attend Washburn University School of Law where she received her juris doctorate degree, with a focus on psychiatric legal issues via a joint program with the Menninger Clinic. These days Jennifer enjoys spending her personal time with her family, enjoying her favorite activity - camping in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She volunteers her time at her local church, sitting on various boards and serving in multiple facets.
