As a seasoned Oregon Attorney, I help people with claims against lawyers, employers, government, pedestrian & bicycle injuries, and other claims.

I limit my law practice to just a few clients at a time. This way, I control the quality of the work and the quality of the client relationship.

Most of my clients have never worked with a lawyer before. People call me because they are suffering from some trouble. I pride myself on being accessible: my clients phone me when they have questions, and I give them the time they need.

Q. Can I sue my university for cutting my hours by over 50% with not enough notice?
A: One question will be whether you had a contract for the higher rate. Or was the 2019-20 contract separate and finished and now you have a new contract for 2020-21. Other questions include whether you have an due process rights. Pull together all of the "contract" documents. If you have a contract, then that is key. If not, then all of the key E-mails. Then, check with a lawyer. Good luck.
Q. I need a lawyer to sue another lawyer for legal malpractice

Q. My employer told me that I should not come to work after taking my prescirbed medication.
A: You, too, ought to get a lawyer. Your question raises issues of whether your medical condition or any disability caused her to prevent you from going to work. Did they try to work with you about your medication. Also, it raises the question of the real reason she wanted to get rid of you. You ought to request your personnel records immediately. They can wait 45 days to give them to you (assuming you are employed in Oregon) They will be presenting you with a waiver of rights in exchange for additional money. You will want a lawyer to analyze the value if any claims you might have to decide on their offer. Good luck.
