Prior to establishing my practice in Los Angeles, I served as counsel in Washington, D.C. for individuals and law firms representing Fortune 500 Companies in Antitrust matters before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and Federal Communications Commission.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in the early 2000's I've represented small business owners, corporations, employers and employees, landlords and tenants, property owners and claimants in litigating disputes over contracts, commercial transactions, employment relationships and real estate and family matters.
I've represented clients by appearing and arguing before the California Superior Courts, California Courts of Appeal, United States District Court for the Central District of California, United States Court of Appeal for the 9th Circuit, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and litigated, tried and arbitrated matters for clients- as well as settling matters at mediation.
I've served as class-counsel, in-house corporate counsel, and continue to advise businesses and corporations in a preventative capacity. I've also taught as Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Pepperdine University and brokered commercial and residential real property transactions in California.
As a law student I was employed as a Summer Associate for the California Department of Corporations, Litigation and Enforcement Division, in Los Angeles California; Venable, Baetjer, Howard and Civiletti, in Washington, D.C.; and Cuatrecasas Abogados, in Barcelona, Spain. Prior to law school I received an introduction to the legal profession and learned what a positive impact a lawyer can have by working for my University’s non-profit student legal aid office.
