James Andrew Woods II

I am a dedicated attorney with a strong commitment to serving my clients and a background that spans criminal, labor and employment, and consumer protection law. After earning my Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, I began my legal career at the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office. Now based in Dallas, Texas, I focus on investigating civil rights complaints in the higher education sector, including matters related to Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX. My work ensures that institutions comply with federal laws while promoting equity and accountability.

Motivated by a desire to make legal support more accessible, I have recently expanded my practice into consumer litigation. In this area, I help individuals safeguard their rights under laws such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). I am licensed to practice in Oklahoma State Courts, the Western District of Oklahoma, the Northern District of Texas, and the Northern District of Illinois.
