Chief City Prosecutor: City of Federal Way; 2000 - 2002; Recruited by City Attorney and asked to head the Prosecutor's office. Developed and implemented policies for the effective prosecution of over 3,600 cases annually. Steered a $1.5 million city jail budget; reduced annual jail costs by 40% while maintaining a robust trial schedule and developing and presenting police training seminars.

Assistant City Prosecutor: City of Federal Way; 1999 - 2000; Prosecuted gross and simple misdemeanors from arraignment to trial. Supervised major crime investigations through the police department. Researched and defended appeals.
