Dworken & Bernstein Co., L.P.A. / Aggressive. Creative. Successful.
I work to hold corporations and governments accountable to consumers and taxpayers through my class action and business litigation practice. I graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University Law School in 2011. I am an Associate in the firm’s Class Action practice group, focusing on the litigation of complex civil actions including consumer class actions and wage and hour actions. In this role, I strive to represent the interests and protect the rights of my clients both in Ohio and across the country. My current cases involve unlawful conduct by government agencies, manufacturers, retailers, and employers. I have served as class counsel in actions across the country and have been successful in representing individuals while holding defendants accountable:
I successfully certified both a multi-state and national class of consumers in “snake oil” cases against two well-known national manufacturers;
I negotiated a favorable settlement for a class of individuals who had been upcharged for their title insurance policies by a regional title insurance company;
I negotiated a favorable settlement for a class of employees of a Cleveland based restaurant who were not properly paid for all overtime hours worked;
I defeated dispositive motions by retailers in actions that allege unlawful advertising and marketing practices.
I graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo) in 2007 with a double major in History and Political Science. While at SUNY Buffalo, I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I then graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law with my J.D. in 2011. While in law school, I served as an articles editor for Case Western’s Journal of International Law and served as a research assistant to Professor Lewis Katz, helping to research and update portions of Ohio Arrest, Search and Seizure.
