Frances Murphy
Personal Injury Attorney Serving Detroit and surrounding areas
I’m a personal injury attorney based in St. Clair Shores, and my practice is built around one simple principle: treat every client like family. That means listening closely, staying accessible, and fighting hard to make things right when someone has been hurt through no fault of their own.
Over the years, I’ve helped people across Macomb County and Metro Detroit navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives—car accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and workplace injuries. Whether the case is big or small, I give each client my full attention and honest guidance. I don’t pass cases off to associates or treat clients like case numbers. When you work with me, you work directly with me.
Before opening my practice, I gained experience handling complex cases at a larger firm, but I knew I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to build a firm that felt approachable and deeply connected to the community. That’s why I’ve chosen to stay local and independent—so I can keep that personal touch.
I believe good legal help should be clear, compassionate, and grounded in trust. If you’ve been injured and don’t know where to turn, give me a call. I’m here to help you understand your rights, deal with the insurance companies, and move forward with confidence.

- Q. I dont feel my son attorney is really helping us. We are living out of a hotel cash running out. My son being injured
- A: There are plenty of other personal injury attorneys available to help if you are not satisfied with your current attorney. However, sometimes it's helpful to let the attorney know how you feel. They may not know you're dissatisfied with their help. Also, cases are moving more slowly than usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That is one of the unfortunate realities of lawsuits, especially during the pandemic.
