I am a former Senior Deputy District Attorney with personal experience in over 10,000 court cases, ranging from minor traffic offenses to homicide. In addition to criminal and traffic defense, I have been practicing Bankruptcy since 1999 and have helped thousands of clients get a Fresh Financial Start.
My practice is limited to Criminal, DUI, Traffic and Bankruptcy cases. I am NOT a general practitioner who handles many different types of law. Criminal and Bankruptcy law is the only law that I have practiced since I became a lawyer over 25 years ago.
Over the past 25+ years of practice I have worked with thousands of police officers and have appeared in court on countless occasions. Few attorneys possess my firm’s background and extensive experience in this area of the law.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - I treat clients the way I would want to be treated if I was experiencing legal problems – with honesty, kindness and respect. I do not tell clients what they want to hear just to get a case. I do not scare clients into retaining me. I will never say to a client “Don’t worry about it.” What I do is tell clients the truth, right over the phone. I call clients back, even at night or on weekends. Additionally, my staff is well-informed and very helpful if I am not in the office when you call.
FREE IN-DEPTH CONSULTATIONS - I gladly talk to new clients over the phone, for as long as you wish. I will answer every question that you have over the phone, or even in person if you prefer, for free. I will gladly explain all of your options, give you my honest opinion about what could happen to you and I even quote a fee and a flexible payment plan, right over the phone. I believe that an informed client is the best client. Again, if I was having legal problems, that is the way that I would want to be treated.

- Q. Will it be possible to reduce my fine and reduce the points on my driving record?
- A: You need to get a lawyer to assist. The notice of suspension was because you did not enter a plea on the ticket. It was likely sent to the address on your license. If you have not already, you should contact the court and plead not guilty and then your license would not be suspended. A lawyer can assist is getting the citation reduced, hopefully to no points so you insurance doesn't see the ticket. Also, some court will let your lawyer attend for you, so you may not even have to physically go to court. A lawyer is a good investment so hopefully your insurance won't increase as a result. Good luck!
- Q. Speeding violation bill from rental company for speeding in Philly while on vacation, yet was never pulled over. Legal?
- A: You need to determine if the speeding ticket is in your name or the company's name. Police can mail a ticket but they usually do pull the driver over first. If it is not in your name and it was not you who was the driver then this would be a civil law case and not a traffic law, so you should post your question in that forum. The ticket can be looked up on the ujsportal to see if it was filed in your name
- Q. Citation for 87 in 55 ( I was going 83) expired inspection and registration. I fixed the expirations. Will I be okay?
- A: You are facing a license suspension hearing and 5 points at that speed. Plead not guilty on all citations by mail and get a lawyer to help you. Many times we can negotiate the speed down to save your license and save some points. Bring proof you fixed the paperwork to court and alot of times those tickets can be dropped, but you need to focus on the speeding which is the most serious offense
