Edgar Roy Nield
Ed Nield is the principal and partner of the Nield Law Group APC with his wife/partner, Gabrielle De Santis Nield, and has over 35 years litigation experience. Mr. Nield has experience litigating life-changing catastrophic injury claims, whether arising out of medical malpractice, automobile, motorcycle, and pedestrian accidents, premises liability, dog bites or wrongful death. Mr. Nield, along with the Nield Law Group team, is dedicated to fighting for justice for victims who have suffered from the wrongful actions of others and strives to reach the maximum recovery for those victims.
Ed and Gabrielle Nield have a unique perspective and advantage to clients of the Nield Law Group APC, knowing how the insurance companies and their counsel work to mitigate an injured person’s recovery or dispute liability in the first place since they both were former partners in insurance defense firms. They are respected among their peers, both on the plaintiff and defense side of the aisle.
Ed Nield has handled hundreds of medical negligence and other personal injury related cases over the course of his legal career, many of which were resolved by settlement or through successful jury verdicts. This has earned Mr. Nield the honor of admission into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
In addition, Mr. Nield’s litigation experience includes appearances as lead counsel at hundreds of mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences. He received his certification in mediation from the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution through Pepperdine University School of Law and serves as a mediator, arbitrator and Judge Pro Tem for the Riverside County Superior Courts. He has also provided mediation and arbitration services through the San Diego County Superior Court. Mr. Nield also conducts private mediations.
