Donald Bertke

I am a partner in the Personal Injury Practice at the firm. I am dedicated to managing a broad range of personal injury cases, including those related to motor vehicle and pedestrian accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and wrongful death.

Before my current position at Kanner & Pintaluga, I worked at another personal injury firm in South Florida, where I handled personal injury cases and PIP claims. I have a deep understanding of the litigation strategies used by insurance companies and their lawyers to push injured individuals to settle for less or abandon their cases altogether.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. During my undergraduate studies, I engaged in graduate-level coursework on the biological basis of behavior and conducted research on unconscious transference in eyewitness testimony. I obtained my J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, where I was involved in managing a judicial campaign and also helped raise funds for a national organization that offers pro-bono legal services to people discriminated against based on gender, sexual orientation, or medical conditions.
