Dmitriy graduated from UNC Charlotte, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Finance. He further attended the Charlotte School of Law and graduated Cum Laude. Dmitriy now works as a Managing Partner at Biazzo & Panchenko Law, PLLC, and serves Charlotte and surrounding areas (Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Matthews, Waxhaw, Monroe).

Dmitriy was born in Ukraine, and is a Russian speaking attorney. As such, he is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian languages with an ability to translate and negotiate in both.

While at Charlotte Law, Dmitriy served the local community in the role of the Certified Legal Intern where he gained invaluable experience. Aside from his responsibilities at the firm, Dmitriy enjoys spending time with his family, working out, traveling, and serving his local church.

Q. The woman whose car I rear-ended months ago said she was fine. Now she's claiming back pain. Could I get sued over this?
A: Yes. Technically, you can get sued within a designated timeframe -- statute of limitations. It varies from state to state, but generally it's three years for personal injury cases. However, as the other attorneys pointed out, waiting even a few weeks after the accident to seek treatment will likely kill the case. As such, just contact your insurance company and let them know about the accident. They will likely deny her claim upon review of her medical records.
