- Q. If I was in a work incident and I happened to be the victim could I sue the company for not taking any action?
- A: If you are injured, you could make a worker's compensation claim against your employer. If your co-worker through something at you, that might be a crime, and you could call the police. However, practically speaking, this will cause problems for your employer, and they may fire you. Perhaps you should seek another job.
- Q. What needs to be in a letter from the other parent to consent to move their child out of state? No courts are involved
- A: I am not sure what letter you are referring to. If a case was opened, a letter in regards to removal might be appropriate. However, your brother could open a court case or he risks the mom going to court in Illinois and convincing a judge that your brother wrongfully took their son from Illinois. The mom might say it is okay for the son to relocate with your brother, but she is an addict, and they often lie and make desperate moves for one reason or another.
- Q. I'm suing a nursing home for negligence and a hospital for negligence and wrongful death as in malpractice .
- A: You are going to need an Illinois personal injury lawyer and nursing home negligence lawyer to handle your case. You are involved in a complicated matter.
