Clinton DeWitt specializes in federal and state criminal defense and litigation. Clinton has extensive experience in the courtroom and has served as lead counsel in many jury and bench trials. Clinton serves his clients by developing each case with great care and detail to best prepare for trial. Effective trial preparation results in the best resolution for every case, whether that be a negotiated deal or submission of the case to a jury or judge.
Clinton has represented numerous clients in criminal and civil litigation, including IRS tax investigations, arbitration, medical board complaints, and white collar criminal investigations. Clinton offers clients years of experience in the defense of complex litigation. He routinely represents clients in disputes with government, businesses, and regulatory entities. Clinton also serves as special conflict counsel for the Arkansas Public Defender Commission. Clinton is a member of the Arkansas Associate of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
A native of Arkadelphia, Clinton now lives in Little Rock with his wife and four children. He attended Ouachita Baptist University, where he played football and was a ROTC cadet. Clinton earned his law degree with high honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
