Chris Kellogg
Stange Law Firm, PC
I attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where I earned my Juris Doctor in 2004. During my time in law school, I was honored with Dean’s Honors and held positions as the Student Editor-in-Chief from May 2003 to May 2004 and as a Student Research Editor from August 2002 to May 2003 for the ABA Family Law Quarterly. Prior to my legal education, I studied at Kansas State University, where I obtained a Master of Arts in Spanish Language Acquisition and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I am licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas.
Before my current role at the Stange Law Firm in Overland Park, Kansas, where I focus on divorce and family law, I worked as an attorney for a child support government contractor. In that capacity, I was responsible for establishing paternity and child support for the Kansas Department for Children and Families in Sedgwick County, Kansas. My duties included drafting pleadings and other legal documents for a large caseload, representing DCF in court proceedings, and interacting with both internal and external clients. Additionally, I handled modifications of child support obligations for my clients. My previous experience spans over 20 years in various legal capacities, including serving as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Kansas Office of Administrative Hearings, a Deputy Director of Child Support Services for the Department for Children and Families in Kansas, and a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City. I am committed to my role as a family lawyer and take pride in my legal work. My focus is on assisting clients through the challenging aspects of divorce or family law issues, and I am dedicated to helping you rebuild your life.
