Charlean Leann Cooper
Cooper & Cooper, P.A.
I have a robust background in family law and a deep-seated passion for assisting families in Florida as they navigate life's challenges and related legal matters. I was drawn to the legal profession with a mission to represent those I saw as voiceless, particularly children.
I pursued my Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During my studies, I engaged in several internships that shaped my career path. I worked as a Legal Intern for the Florida Department of Children and Families, contributing to both Children’s Legal Services and the Office of the General Counsel. Additionally, I served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Gator TeamChild Juvenile Law Clinic representing minors in Juvenile Law cases.
Upon earning my J.D., I continued my journey with the Department of Children and Families, transitioning from a Certified Legal Intern to an Associate Attorney. In this role, I represented the state of Florida in various legal proceedings including motion hearings, court dockets, and trials. This experience honed my litigation skills. In October 2020, I shifted my focus exclusively to family law, where I have since been involved in countless mediations, motions hearings, and trials covering a broad spectrum of family law issues.
