Cathryn "Ally" Petersen
Ally is an Associate Attorney at The Law Office of Kaye M. Alderman, where she focuses on family law and child welfare law across thirteen counties in East Texas. After earning her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, she passed the Texas Bar Exam in October 2024 and began her legal career with a deep commitment to advocating for families and children during some of their most challenging times.
Before law school, Ally graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Christian University in 2021, where she developed a strong foundation in critical thinking, communication, and public service—skills that continue to shape her approach to legal practice.
Ally's work is rooted in compassion, diligence, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her clients. She is driven to provide thoughtful and effective legal counsel, whether in the courtroom or at the negotiating table.
