Brian Dooley Kent
Crime Victim Rights & Personal Injury LawyerMr. Kent is a personal injury trial lawyer specializing in complex work accident litigation and crime victims' civil cases. He also handles premises liability, defective products and medical malpractice cases. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Kent was a prosecutor with the Montgomery County, PA District Attorney's Office. He is passionate about pursuing justice for victims of crime including victims of sexual assault, child molestation, priest/clergy abuse and institutional abuse (abuse in school, hospital or professional settings). In one high profile case, he represented a client who sued a sitting state court judge for decades old sexual abuse; the judge was later disbarred after admitting to the abuse and issuing an apology. Mr. Kent is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Illinois. Since co-founding the Philadelphia based law firm of Laffey, Bucci & Kent, he has litigated dozens of personal injury lawsuits. With offices in 4 states, the firm is uniquely positioned to handle matters across the country.
