Law practice focused on individual and corporate client representation, litigation, arbitration and mediation in the areas of Labor & Employment, Corporate Contract Defense, Probate, Estates, Workers Compensation, and Unemployment Compensation. Research, write and prepare for filing all state and federal pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and suggested judicial orders to include Complaints, Responses to Summary Judgment with applicable Exhibits, Pre-Trial Orders, Motions in Limine, and Appellate Court motions with supporting briefs. Write and file EEOC form 5 charges and response statements filed under Title VII. Conduct and defend depositions representing the legal positions for both Plaintiff and Defendant. Successfully negotiate and write settlement agreements to resolve legal actions prior to trial. Mediate and arbitrate employment matters through Federal Mediation Programs and the American Arbitration Association, including preparing all required briefs, exhibits and execution of final agreements. Settled significant Harassment case through intervention and counsel for multiple plaintiffs through Federal Magistrate mediation brought through the EEOC in Washington, D.C. Successfully represented clients in numerous cases to include LGBT rights, Workplace Retaliation, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, First and Eleventh Amendment protections, State and Municipality employment due process violations, corporate employment and contract litigation, Qui-Tam Title III Federal Funding, and protected Whistleblower actions to include work with the CFPB and State Ethics Commission. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and Juris Doctor from the Birmingham School of Law. Benjamin H.
