Barbara B Ernsberger
Barbara Behrend Ernsberger is a traditional, but independent praticitioner of the law. She has a hands on approach to her clients and cases but adapts to the changing course of the law, Barbara Ernsberger is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh having received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History in 1973. In 1976, Mrs. Ernsberger received a degree in law from the Duquesne University School of Law. Mrs. Ernsberger is Peer Review rated by Martindale- Hubble as a lawyer with "Very High Legal Ability and Ethical Standards." Mrs. Ernsberger is admitted to practice in the State of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mrs. Ernsberger, an active community leader, has been a member of Morewood-Shadyside Civic Association, Community Advisory Board for the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County Democratic Committee, State Democratic Committee, and Delegate to the 1986 National Democratic Convention. She has also been a member of the boards of Shadyside Presbyterian Church Nursery School, Tri Delta Sorority, Presbyterian Ladies Aid Society and Moderator of the Shadyside Presbyterian Church Women's Association. Mrs. Ernsberger was a founding partner of the law firm of Behrend and Ernsberger, and is now a shareholder in its successor, Behrend and Ernsberger, P.C. with offices in the City of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Ernsberger is primarily engaged in trial practice in family law and worker's compensation, and insurance and consumer fraud. She is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Bar of Pennsylvania, and the Bar of Allegheny County.
