Attorney Conticello leverages over two decades of legal experience in a variety of complementary legal areas. His current practice focuses on Elder Law Planning, Estate & Trust Planning, Estate Administration including Probate, as well as Sunshine Law and Public Records compliance. Additionally, firm handles Civil litigation and Commercial disputes, and has served as outside Business and Corporate Counsel for a variety of corporations. While our office is in Tallahassee, we provide legal services throughout the State of Florida.

While Attorney Conticello has enjoyed the experience of working in-house with the State Government and private corporations, his experience is best suited to working in private practice where he can focus on helping people.

Attorney Conticello has dedicated a significant part of his practice to dealing with Estate Planning and Elder Law planning. His Elder law practice is where he helps elderly families qualify for Medicaid and VA benefits without having to lose their homes, money, and savings.

Death is a tough topic to deal with. But facing our mortality head-on requires planning, and we do it for our loved ones and our legacy. There is no way to get second chances when it comes to creating your Estate Plan. If you don't create a plan, then the State of Florida and a Judge will make those decisions for you.

Attorney Conticello also leverages his 20+ years working for governmental entities, and now represents people and businesses facing issues dealing with Florida's Sunshine Laws and Public Record requests. This might include anything from coordinating a complex public record request, or litigating against a governmental entity to ensure that they comply with Florida's Sunshine laws.

Q. My grandmother wants to buy a property I eventually will inherit and what's the best way to go about the title?
A: Great question and what a great problem to deal with!

One key component to many Estate Plans is creditor avoidance. Fortunately, there are several alternatives available to both of you, some of which require specific language to be included in the deed. In addition to Estate Planning services, our firm deals with Elder law planning issues and I am concerned that if your grandmother gives you the property, it could affect her eligibility to obtain certain governmental benefits, such as Medicaid.

It is probably appropriate for you and your grandmother to hire a qualified Estate Planning attorney who can point you quickly in the right direction.
Q. I'm creating a Family Revocable Living Trust.
A: This is a question that requires additional information. It also deals with the title to real property and should not be done based upon an internet query. It is best to bite the bullet and hire an Estate Planning attorney who can assist you in answering that question.

Best of luck.
